Two Gorgeous Lake Front Cottages on Clearlake. Mallard House 1 & 2 at Bell Haven Resort offers two charming, well-appointed one bedroom and one bathroom cottages in a private and historic resort on beautiful Clearlake in Soda Bay.

Soda Bay is located in the town of Kelseyville on the West shore of breathtaking Clearlake, just minutes from Konocti Harbor. We are less than one hour from some of the best wine tasting in California, I don't mean the tourist traps in Napa, I mean the great boutique wineries in Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley, Lake County, and Mendocino County. This is where the locals go to taste, and unlike Napa or Sonoma, most of the wineries tasting fees are $5 or less, some are still free! Try finding that in Napa.

The cottages leave nothing to be desired, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath. Both Mallard House Cottages are nonsmoking. Each sleeps 4 with all new furniture and appliances. Each has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Both, (yes, even the sleeper sofa), are very comfortable, we promise.

The rec room has a full size pool table as well as ping pong, a game board table, over stuffed sectional sofa, TV with over 200 videos, wood burning stove and Wi-Fi throughout the resort. The 3.5 acres is fully fenced with it's own private beach and new dock stretching out over 300 feet from shore.

Bring your boat and your fishing pole, Clearlake is the largest natural lake in California and second oldest lake in the world! It's also the #1 bass lake in the nation, bottom line is this is a great lake for bass fishing..

7 pound Bass have been caught right off the dock.

Included with your vacation rental is the use of kayaks and a row boat that are shared with the other 4 vacation cottages within the resort.

You may have up to 4 guests per cottage. Also, so long as no one is in your cottage ahead of you, or coming in behind you, you are welcome to arrive as early as noon and stay as late as 6pm on your check out day. There is a $45 cleaning fee for any stay.
