Vail is a Municipality of Home Rule in Eagle County, Colorado, U.S.A. This wonderful town was built and established as base village to amazing Vail Ski Resort, originally conceived with this idea. The population of this town at 2005 census was 4,589. Its first season was opened in December, 1962 and was the second largest, after Whistler Blackcomb, Ski Mountain in Northern America. Durango is a part of La Plata county Colorado, USA. It has a very big population. The USA Census Bureau estimated the population of this city as 16,887 in the census held in 2010.

This town got organized in 1881. DENVER AND RIO GRANDE RAILROAD (D&RG) organized this district for serving San Juan district for mining. The city got its name from Durango in Mexico. The city’s name has its origination from a word “Urango” which means a town filled with water.

Durango is located in Animas River Valley which is bounded by San Juan range of mountains. Animas River is like a lifeline of this city and is filled with flying fishes. Some popular adventure sports played here are kayaking, rafting and canoeing. Breckenridge town in Colorado, USA is a ski town that gets its huge share of tourists from all over the planet. The Northwest region has many similar towns but this differs in more than one ways. It takes two hours and a few more minutes from Denver to reach here.
